Privacy Policy — FACEIT Utilities

What this extension does

FACEIT Utilities is a Chrome extension that detects the current map in a FACEIT CS2 match room and displays relevant utility lineups (smokes, flashbangs, molotovs, etc.) from csnades.gg.

Data we collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Specifically:

• No user accounts, no registration, no tracking.
• No browsing history is recorded or transmitted.
• The extension reads the current tab's URL solely to detect FACEIT match room pages.

Local cache

Utility lineup data fetched from csnades.gg is cached locally on your device using chrome.storage.local for up to 24 hours to avoid redundant network requests. This data contains only CS2 game information (nade lineups) and no personal information. It never leaves your device.

Third-party services

The extension fetches publicly available data from csnades.gg. No personal data is sent to csnades.gg or any other third party. Please refer to csnades.gg's own privacy policy for information about their data practices.

Permissions

• storage — used exclusively for the local nade lineup cache described above.
• activeTab — used to read the current tab's URL and display extension status in the popup.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
